PITTSBURG, Kan. - The third Oklahoma Christian women's school record fell in as many weeks as
Katie Bosley broke the 28-year old 400 meter record to highlight OC's stay at the two-day Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic Feb. 13-14.
With half of the OC team heading to Topeka, Kan., for the Ichabod Invitational, Bosley was among the group that went to Pittsburg, Kan., for the final meet of the indoor regular season of 2026. Bosley delivered her best in her final meet before the LSC Conference Championships.
The Edmond, Okla., native placed eighth in the 400 dash, hitting a national provisional time of 56.49, beating the former school record of 56.68 by 19 hundredths of a second. With that finish, Bosley currently owns the 16th fastest time in the Lone Star Conference and 18th fastest time in the South Central region.
Oklahoma Christian will regroup back in the Sooner State, where they will prepare for the 2026 Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships held in Albuquerque, N.M., Feb. 27-28.
