GREENWOOD, Ind. -
Joey Lewis and
Exequiel Rodriguez of Oklahoma Christian men's golf were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team, the CSC announced Tuesday, June 17.
The 2025 Academic All-District Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
Nomination criteria includes the student-athlete needing to be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and must have been in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition.
Both Lewis and Rodriguez helped guide OC to its fourth consecutive top-eight national finish this past May. Lewis finished fourth individually in the 2025 Lone Star Conference Championship while Rodriguez recorded four top-10 finishes on the year.
Due to his accolades on the course and in the classroom, Rodriguez will advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, to be announced Wednesday, July 9. Rodriguez is a two-time GCAA Academic All-American.
