EDMOND, Okla. - The NCAA postseason begins Thursday, May 8 as NFCA No. 21 and four-seed Oklahoma Christian takes on Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Champion and five-seed Colorado Christian in the day's night cap. First pitch from Irwin Field on the campus of the University of Texas at Tyler is set for 5 p.m. CT.
EAGLE OUTLOOK (36-19, 29-15 LSC)
No. 21 Oklahoma Christian earned the at-large bid to the NCAA Division II South Central Regional as the No. 4 seed after posting its eighth-consecutive 30-win season while finishing fourth in the Lone Star Conference with a 29-15 league mark. The Eagles' 36 regular-season wins is the most since 2022.

Brewster has established herself as the No. 2 hitter on the squad Behind Yaerger's team-leading .374 batting average with a .352 average. Brewster has bolstered her average thanks to hitting .404 (19-for-47) since the beginning of April. Yaerger and Brewster are joined by three other Eagles who are all hitting .318 or better.
Thursday will be just the second all-time meeting between Oklahoma Christian and Colorado Christian and the first since 2014 when OC defeated CCU in the National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region Tournament, 9-0. Since the beginning of the 2020 season, OC is 8-2 against RMAC teams.
SCOUTING COLORADO CHRISTIAN (43-14, 36-8 RMAC)
Colorado Christian is making its fourth consecutive trip to the South Central Regional as the Cougars hold a 3-6 record over that stretch in the NCAA postseason, including a 2-5 mark against Lone Star Conference opposition. This year, CCU is 2-3 against LSC teams.
Colorado Christian claimed an automatic bid to Regionals after going 3-0 in the RMAC Tournament. Leading the Cougars to their conference championship is a .345 team-batting average and a team-ERA of 2.11. Starting pitcher Emma Duncan holds a 1.62 ERA while closer Hanna Espinoza is tied for fifth in NCAA Division II with seven saves.
