Dickson, George, Paulsen CSC Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Jill Dickson, Maci George and Kate Paulsen were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees, the CSC announced Tuesday, May 27.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

Qualified student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games played or must have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.

George and Paulsen were two of six Eagles to have started all 59 games this season in OC's run to the 2025 sub-region final. Dickson made 29 starts in the circle while making 33 appearances, recording 189 strikeouts in 168.1 innings with a 3.08 ERA.

Given her accolades on the field and in the classroom, the Edmond, Okla. (Edmond Memorial HS) right-arm hurler and three-time First Team All-Conference recipient will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, to be announced June 17, 2025.
