INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the second time in as many days,
Tammy Greenwood recorded a top-10 finish at the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships, this time as an individual.
Greenwood started the day with an 11th-place swim after the prelims. Heading into the evening session, the Colorado Springs, Colo., native cut 17 hundredths of a second off her time to place top-10 for the second time on the week, garnering seven points for OC.
The sophomore freestyler came within four hundredths of a second of setting her second school record during these Championships. Tuesday, Mar. 11, Greenwood joined
Vanessa Weatherford,
Jaiden Branstrom and
Laura Byars for a new 800 free relay school record.
Oklahoma Christian will return to the pool Thursday, Mar. 13 with Greenwood competing in the 200 free (1:48.05) as the five seed. Prior to her second individual swim, however, Jarod Arroyo (3:52.27) and Eli Rollen (3:52.76) for the men will compete in the 400 individual medley, serving as the 14th and 17th seed, respectively.
