Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian (24-14, 20-10) will take a break from conference play in the midweek by traveling to take on in state competition No. 4 Roger State (29-5, 13-1) in Claremore on Tuesday evening.

What To Know About The Eagles 

• Head Coach Shalee Rodriguez is entering her 3rd season at the helm for the Eagles, and coming into this season, Rodriguez held an overall record of 77-32.
• Last season, the Eagles finished with an overall record of 38-17 and a 29-13 conference record.
• The Eagles fell short in the Lone Star Conference Championship, losing to UT Tyler 4-3. 
• In the NCAA South Central Regional championship, OC battled with UT Tyler before the Patriots won to end the season.
• The Eagles' success at the plate starts with Kadence Brewster leading the way. Brewster is hitting .309 in 123 at-bats, and she has recorded 38 hits with 17 RBIs, 2 home runs, and scoring herself 16 times. 
• Kiley Brewster has been a source of offense for the Eagles in the middle part of the conference. Brewster is holding an average of .318 in 110 at-bats, with 13 RBIs on 35 hits and crossing home plate 13 times herself.
• Kristen Whitehouse has had a good run at the plate in the last few games. Whitehouses hitting percentage is up to .279 with 31 hits in 111 at-bats with 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 14 RBIs. 
• After coming over from basketball, Brooklin Bain has made an impact in the Eagles lineup. Bain has a .300 batting average in 90 at-bats, with 27 hits, 6 doubles, 2 triple, 4 home runs, and 13 RBIs. 
• The Eagles have a tandem pitching attack of Jill Dickson and Grace Anderson. Together, they've recorded 144 strikeouts and led the way for a team ERA of 3.60. The Eagles have pitched 6 shutout games and 1 combined no-hitter this season.  
• Jill Dickson is coming off a no-hitter solo performance against Texas Women's on Saturday. 

What to know about the Hillcats 

• Andrea Vaughan is in her 9th season as the Hillcats head coach. She is the only coach at RSU to ever win a national championship when, in 2022, the Hillcats' claimed the National Championship. 
• RSU comes into this season trying to get to 40+ for the 3rd time in a row. 
• The Hillcats were picked to finish 2nd in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, just behind UCO. 
• The Hillcats went 5-1 last weekend at the DII First Pitch Invitational. At this tournament, RSU faced 4 LSC teams. 
• The Hillcats are led by pitcher Sara Llamas-Howell, who was recently named MIAA Pitcher of the Week. Last year, Llamas-Howell was named MIAA Pitcher of the Year and received the honor of NFCA Second Team All-American. 
• The Hillcats are currently ranked 3rd in the NFCA polls and are in a good position to win their conference title. 

Last Matchup 

In a matchup earlier this season, the Eagles came out on top of Rogers State. The Eagles grabbed the early lead and held off the Hillcats attempt at a come back.
