What To Know About The Eagles 

• Head Coach Shalee Rodriguez is entering her 3rd season at the helm for the Eagles, and coming into this season, Rodriguez held an overall record of 77-32. 

• Kadence Brewster leads the way offensively,  hitting .309 in 123 at-bats, and she has recorded 38 hits with 17 RBIs, 2 home runs, and scoring herself 16 times. 

• Kiley Brewster has been a source of offense for the Eagles in the middle part of the conference. Brewster is holding an average of .318 in 110 at-bats, with 13 RBIs on 35 hits and crossing home plate 13 times herself.

• Kristen Whitehouse has had a good run at the plate in the last few games. Whitehouses hitting percentage is up to .279 with 31 hits in 111 at-bats with 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 14 RBIs. 

• After coming over from basketball, Brooklin Bain has made an impact in the Eagles lineup. Bain has a .300 batting average in 90 at-bats, with 27 hits, 6 doubles, 2 triple, 4 home runs, and 13 RBIs. 

• The Eagles have a tandem pitching attack of Jill Dickson and Grace Anderson. Together, they've recorded 144 strikeouts and led the way for a team ERA of 3.60. The Eagles have pitched 6 shutout games, 1 combined no-hitter this season, as a complete-game no-hitter (see below). 

• Jill Dickson is coming off a no-hitter solo performance against Texas Women's on Saturday.

• The Javelinas are coached by Orlando Salinas. Salinas is in his first season as the head coach at Kingsville. 

• Kingsville currently sits 8th in the conference standing, 3 games back of Oklahoma Christian who are tied for 3rd. 

• The Javelinas have four players who are hitting above .300 with over 100 at bats. 

• Kayla Gonzales is leading the way for the Javelinas, with a .374 batting average, 43 hits, 11 doubles, 7 home runs, 34 RBIs and 32 runs. 

• Aaliyah Ortiz and Lindsey Evans are also a great source of power within the batting order, combining for 14 home runs, 20 doubles, and 77 RBIs. 

• Breana Carr is a source in the Javelinas lines up to get one base any way she can with a hitting percentage of .393 and an on base percentage of .428. 

• The pitching duo of Carissa De Los Santos and Beth Montes have seen majority of the time in the circle and are leading the team to a 3.64 ERA.
