Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian (21-14, 17-10) will host Texas Women's (16-19, 14-10) this week for the weekend matchup. This series will be played on Thursday and Friday to not conflict with the Easter Holiday weekend.

What To Know About The Eagles 

• Head Coach Shalee Rodriguez is entering her 3rd season at the helm for the Eagles, and coming into this season, Rodriguez held an overall record of 77-32.

• Last season, the Eagles finished with an overall record of 38-17 and a 29-13 conference record.

• The Eagles fell short in the Lone Star Conference Championship, losing to UT Tyler 4-3. 

• In the NCAA South Central Regional championship, OC battled with UT Tyler before the Patriots won to end the season.

• The Eagles' success at the plate starts with Kadence Brewster leading the way. Brewster is hitting .310 in 113 at-bats, and she has recorded 35 hits with 16 RBIs, 2 home runs, and scoring herself 16 times. 

• Aaliyah Brown has the hot bat in conference play, up to a .273 hitting percentage, with 24 hits in 88 at-bats. Brown has 5 doubles, 2 home runs, and 14 RBIs.

• Kiley Brewster has been a source of offense for the Eagles in the middle part of the conference. Brewster is holding an average of .307 in 101 at-bats, with 10 RBIs on 31 hits and crossing home plate 12 times herself.

• Kristen Whitehouse has had a good run at the plate in the last few games. Whitehouses hitting percentage is up to .282 with 29 hits in 103 at-bats with 4 doubles, 2 triples, and 14 RBIs. 

• After coming over from basketball, Brooklin Bain has made an impact in the Eagles lineup. Bain has a .293 batting average in 82 at-bats, with 24 hits, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs, and 12 RBIs. 

• The Eagles have a tandem pitching attack of Jill Dickson and Grace Anderson. Together, they've recorded 144 strikeouts and led the way for a team ERA of 3.60. The Eagles have pitched 6 shutout games and 1 combined no-hitter this season.  

What To Know About The Pioneers 

• Gay McNutt has been the head coach at Texas Woman's since June of 2022. McNutt is a legendary coach in her own right with 36 years of experience and a long list of accomplishments, including being inducted into the Texas A&M Hall of Fame. 

• Last year, the Pioneers finished with a record of 25-28 and a 17-25 LSC record. 

• TWU was picked to finish 10th in the LSC Preseason Coaches Poll and currently sits 9th in the standings. 

• The Pioneers are led on both the offensive and defensive side by Alyssa LeBlanc. LeBlanc has a .316 hitting percentage in 79 at-bats with 25 hits and 4 home runs. In the circle, LeBlanc is in the top 10 in the LSC, holding a 2.20 with a record of 8-8, 132 strikeouts, and has pitched 6 shutouts this season. 

• Ciana Rodriguez has also been a good production for the Pioneers, with a .286 batting average in 77 at-bats, recording 22 hits, 5 doubles, and 8 RBIs.

In last year's matchup in Denton, Texas, the Pioneers took game one before the Eagles came back the next day to win both games in the doubleheader and take the series 2-1.
