Lady Eagles Look To Build Momentum Against Falcons in Midweek Series

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian (15-11, 11-7) will travel to Odessa, Texas, to take on UT Permian Basin (4-20, 1-14) to play in the midweek conference series with a doubleheader on Tuesday and the final game Wednesday.

What To Know About The Eagles 

  • Head Coach Shalee Rodriguez is entering her 3rd season at the helm for the Eagles, and coming into this season, Rodriguez held an overall record of 77-32.

  • Last season, the Eagles finished with an overall record of 38-17 and a 29-13 conference record.

  • The Eagles fell short in the Lone Star Conference Championship, losing to UT Tyler 4-3. 

  • In the NCAA South Central Regional championship, OC battled with UT Tyler before the Patriots won to end the season.

  • The Falcons use a whole staff of pitchers, with all five pitchers having at least six appearances, and have a team ERA of 7.02. 

  • Morgan McGaugh has a record of 4-5 over eight starts and fifteen appearances. 

Last Years Series 

The Eagles swept the Falcons last year. OC outscored UTPB with a total of 40-8 over the three games, including the first game being a 23-0 run-rule victory.
