Marion, NC -
Caleb Fennell placed 11th out of 256 participants, making the singles final and becoming an All-American.
Caleb came out blazing on day one of the singles competition, leading the field of 256, shooting eleven-under-par on the Boulders course at North Cove in Marion, North Carolina.
Caleb played on the final card on day two on the more difficult Gorge course in unruly conditions. Mother nature decided day two would be 30 degrees colder, with pouring down rain and wind making playing conditions difficult.
Caleb battled the conditions, finishing the competition in 11th place at -1 for the finals, and earned Oklahoma Christian's first disc golf All-American honor.
THOUGHTS FROM COACH RYAN
Caleb played his heart out in singles over the two days. What an honor to be named All-American in your freshman year. I am so proud of him and his accomplishment.
