LAWRENCE, Kan. - The OC Disc Golf team traveled to Lawrence, Kansas, this weekend for their second conference event of the season.

The morning round consisted of a singles competition where
Henry Bente grabbed his second podium of the season. Bente finished in second place in the MA1 division, shooting 10-under-par.Â

Camille Schlegel extended her winning streak in the women's division, coming away with her second straight win of the season. Schlegel would finish her singles round at 5-over-par, winning the division by 5 strokes.Â

The D1 men's team entered the afternoon team round in second place, one stroke behind Emporia State. OC would finish the team round at 12 under par, finishing the tournament at 19 under par. After battling with Emporia State throughout the team round, OC would eventually finish in 2nd place, 4 strokes behind Emporia State.

The men's D2 and D3 teams had solid performances as well but were not quite firing on all cylinders. The D2 team would finish in 7th place in the MA1 division at 7 under par. The D3 team finished in 3rd place in the MA2 division, shooting even par for the tournament.Â

The team battled this weekend at our second event of the season, and we learned a lot. We look forward to getting back to work this week in preparation for our first regional qualifier of the season in San Marcos, Texas. Talons Up!
