Sunday - Team Round
Sunday's competition consisted of one team round. The D1 Men put together one of the most complete team rounds to date. The win earned the D1 team a bid to the National Championship tournament in Rock Hill, South Carolina in April.
Â
The D2 men had a solid round going before bogeys on the last three holes would drop them to 3 under on the round. Finishing at 2-under for the tournament, the D2 Men would finish in 10th place, just missing earning a bid to Nationals.
Â
The D3 Men got off to a slow start in the team round with bogeys on holes 2-4. They would bounce back nicely with 4 birdies on the back 9 to finish the round at 2-under par, which was good for a tie for 16th overall.
Â
In their first team round together, the women's team put together a round of 7-over par, extending their lead over Texas Tech. OC would finish the weekend at 23 over par, winning the tournament by 24 strokes.

Thoughts from Head Coach Landon Clark
It was a great weekend as we traveled to San Marcos, Texas, for our first regional qualifier of the year. Saturday singles were a battle for the entire field, but
Micah Tatro was able to lead the D1 team with a -8 and finished in solo second.
John Liaz played solid golf in the B pool and was able to shoot a good -6 round for the D2 team.
Camille Schlegel continued her winning streak with a 6-stroke victory to claim the South-Central regional singles title! Our D1 team put together one of the best team rounds in OC history to defend the South-Central Regional Conference title! Our women's team dominated the field in their first team tournament together to claim the title. We are looking forward to Nationals in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in April! Talons Up.
