RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference awards were announced today. Giorgia Turri was named an honorable mention to the All-Conference team and Brylie Berryman received the honor of being named to the the conferences All-Academic team.
BRYLIE BERRYMAN
Brylie Berryman received her second academic honor from the Lone Star Conference. Berryman has been a vital member of the Eagles volleyball team, finishing off her senior season with 100 sets played, 48 assists, 19 serving aces, 396 digs, and 20 points. Berryman capped off her great career at OC with playing in 348 sets over 94 matches and recording 13 kills, 236 assists, 54 serving aces, 1453 digs, and 67 points.
GIORGIA TURRI
Giorgia Turri had an impressive year with the Eagles and was named by the Lone Star Conference as an honorable mention for the All-Conference team. Turri showed out for the Eagles with great stats over 84 sets played she ended with 281 kills, 24 assists, a conference leading 44 serving aces, 241 digs, 35 blocks, and 343.5 points. Turri capped off an amazing collegiate career with playing in 172 sets over 58 matches recording 226 kills, 38 assists, 64 serving aces, 451 digs, 40 blocks, and 511 points over her time at Grand Canyon and Oklahoma Christian.
