ABILENE, Texas (March 19, 2022) – Oklahoma Christian sprinters
Bryah Davis and
Aysha Robinson opened their season with strong finishes in their races on Saturday in Abilene Christian's Wes Kittley Invitational at Elmer Gray Stadium.
Davis, a sophomore from Cedar Hill, Texas, finished sixth among 37 runners in the 100 meters with a time of 12.06 seconds. She also placed 11th of 41 women in the 200 meters with a time of 24.79 seconds, her career best in an outdoor track meet.
Robinson, a junior from Round Rock, Texas, took 17th in the 100 meters in 12.60 seconds.
The Eagles' women's team will be spread across three meets next week, with those who qualifying competing in the Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, and the Texas State Invitational in San Marcos, Texas, from Thursday through Saturday and others competing in the Oral Roberts Invitational in Tulsa, Okla., on Friday and Saturday.
