OKLAHOMA CITY (July 26, 2021) – Juan Manuel Arias, a former standout goalkeeper at MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.), will serve as a graduate assistant coach for Oklahoma Christian's men's soccer program for the 2021 season, OC coach
Mitchell Sowerby said Monday.
Arias, from Paso de los Libres, Argentina, finished his playing career in 2019 at MidAmerica Nazarene, a NAIA school, receiving All-Heart of America Conference third-team honors. He spent the 2018 season at University of the Southwest (N.M.), another NAIA program, after transferring from Feather River (Calif.) Community College.
He will be one of two graduate assistant coaches for the Eagles during the upcoming season, joining former Southwestern Christian player Artur Gomes.
