OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 7, 2021) -- The Lone Star Conference named Oklahoma Christian sprinter
Bryah Davis on Tuesday as the league's women's indoor track athlete of the week.
Davis, a sophomore from Cedar Hill, Texas, shined in the season-opening Crimson and Gold Invitational, hosted by Pittsburg State (Kan.) on Saturday inside the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kan.
She was OC's top individual finisher in any event, placing seventh among 59 runners in the 200 meters in 25.23 seconds, her best-ever time indoors at that distance. She also finished 18th among 78 runners in the 60 meters in 7.82 seconds.
It's the first time Davis has received a weekly conference honor.
