OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 22, 2021) -- Lilli Daniels, a local softball standout who attends Santa Fe South High School, has signed to play collegiately at Oklahoma Christian, OC coach
Shalee Rodriguez said Monday.
Daniels, an infielder, starred in club softball for the Oklahoma Force in recent years. Among her teammates on that team was current OC player Kennedy Fisher.
"We are excited about Lilli becoming an Eagle next year," Rodriguez said. "Lilli has great power at the plate and will bring depth to our infield. She is a very strong, explosive hitter."
She joins twins Kadence and Kiley Brewster of Wichita, Kan., and Jill Dickson, a pitcher from Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, in OC's 2022 signing class.
This year's signees will join a program that has established itself among the elite in NCAA Division II, rising to a No. 4 national ranking in 2021 and earning the No. 1 seed in the Division II South Central Regional.
