Kenya Bailey represented Oklahoma Christian on the All-Lone Star Conference indoor track and field teams that were announced Wednesday.
Bailey, a sophomore from Ponca City, Okla., made the second-team list by scoring eight team points for OC during the LSC Indoor Championships, held last Friday and Saturday in Lubbock, Texas.
She finished sixth in the 5,000 meters on Friday with a time of 18:22.84, then posted a career-best time of 10:27.01 in the 3,000 meters on Saturday to finish fourth – the highest finish of any OC competitor in the meet.
As a freshman, she earned All-Great American Conference honors last year in the indoor 5,000 meters. In cross country, she's also earned all-conference honors as a freshman (in the Heartland Conference) and a sophomore (in the LSC).
