Colten Brown and
Colton Meyers officially were recognized Tuesday as All-LSC performers.
Brown and Meyers led OC to a second-place finish on Saturday in the LSC race in San Angelo, Texas. Brown, a sophomore from Boise City, Okla., led for a good chunk of the race and finished fifth, covering the 8,000 meters in a career-best time of 25:20.98.
Meyers, a senior from Allen, Texas, repeated on the All-LSC list, placing seventh in 25:24.13 – also a career-best time and a six-spot improvement over last season. The top 15 finishers in the league race earn All-LSC honors.
With their runner-up finish, the Eagles qualified for the Division II XC National Invitational, to be held Nov. 14 in Lubbock, Texas.
