WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The Oklahoma Christian men's cross country team ran in the Mustang Derby hosted by Midwestern State Thursday, Sept. 11, finishing sixth in the field.
Sophomore
Caden Triantos paced the Eagles after finishing 19th out of the 74-runner field. The Mountain Home, Ark., native crossed the finish line at 20:05.1 for the top-20 finish in the 6000-meter race.
Jonah Hays finished just behind Triantos with a 20:11.2 time for 22nd.
Brodey Skipworth,
Cole Green and
Brennan Kirk filled out the Eagles' top five finishers as Skipworth (38th) and Green (39th) came within one second of each other at 20:38.3 and 20:39.2, respectively. Kirk filed in for 41st place with a time of 20:41.8.
Oklahoma Christian will remain at home for a couple weeks before heading to Stillwater, Okla., for the Cowboy Jamboree hosted by Oklahoma State Friday, Sept. 26 at 8:15 a.m.
