FORT WORTH, Texas -
Tegen Arega and
Brooke Latham of Oklahoma Christian men's and women's cross country were named All-Conference performers after finishing seventh at the 2025 LSC Championships Saturday morning while the OC men as a team finished fourth as a team and the women placed fifth.
Men
Arega, despite being 15th after 5000 meters, climbed into the top-10 with a 25:12.52 8k run for the All-Conference nod.
Blake Morrison, who was actually pacing the Eagles after 5k, finished 24th with a time of 25:55.41.
Cole Powell was the second Eagle to cross the finish line at 25:51.70 for a spot at 22nd, while
Cole Davenport (26:28.53) and
Cade Berkey (26:33.31) rounded out the countable scorers in 39th and 42nd place, respectively.
Oklahoma Christian, after finishing ninth last season, recorded its second top-4 finish in the last three seasons at the LSC Championships.
Women
Latham ran her way into her second consecutive All-Conference season after placing seventh in the 122-runner field. The Amarillo, Texas, native sat in ninth at the halfway point but moved into seventh before it was all said and done with a finishing time of 21:44.05.
Caroline Karr, in her final LSC Championships, finished 23rd after cross the line at 22:46.60.
Itzel Flores (23:26.66, 38th),
Kristen Kirk (24:16.48, 52nd) and
Emerson Hodde (25:19.59, 73rd) rounded out the countable scorers for the Eagle runners.
Saturday marked the third consecutive season the Oklahoma Christian women have placed fifth at the LSC Championships.
