TULSA, Okla. (March 29, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian's Maia Zeno finished seventh in the hammer on Friday on the opening day of the Oral Roberts Invitational at the Oneok Sports Complex.

Zeno, a senior from Heath, Texas, posted a top mark of 145 feet, 9 inches (44.43 meters), scoring two team points for the Eagles to put them eighth in the meet standings through three events.

OC junior Destiny Grace placed 18th among 23 competitors in the hammer with a top throw of 117 feet, 8 inches (35.88 meters).

The meet will continue on Saturday.
