NORMAN, Okla. (Feb. 9, 2019) – Four Oklahoma Christian female athletes posted top-five finishes in the Central Oklahoma Alumni Classic track and field meet held Saturday at the University of Oklahoma's Mosier Indoor Facility.
Jordyn Williams, a junior from McKinney, Texas, placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.69 seconds, an 0.03-second improvement over her time in the preliminary round of the race. In the 800 meters,
Caroline Schwab, a freshman from Andover, Kan., was fifth in 2:31.92 – her top collegiate time in that event.
Two OC throwers also shined. Junior
Destiny Grace of Rockwall, Texas, was fourth in the shot put with a top throw of 39 feet, 5 inches (12.01 meters), while senior
Alexus Woolly of Ardmore was fifth in the weight throw at 44 feet, 5½ inches (13.55 meters).
In the sprints, junior
Ivy Lobley of Dalhart, Texas, was 10th in the 400 meters (1:07.44).
