Box Score LUBBOCK, Texas (March 25, 2016) – Lubbock Christian (Texas) hit five home runs, three in the first inning, and held off Oklahoma Christian 10-2 at PlainsCapital Park on Friday afternoon, completing a sweep of a three-game Heartland Conference series.
OC (14-19, 9-6 Heartland) still remained in third place in the league standings, trailing second-place Lubbock Christian (32-7, 10-2) and St. Mary's (Texas). LCU has won 16 straight games, while the Lady Eagles have lost eight straight, all on the road.
Ashton Bell, Molly Davison and Katera Eltsosie all homered for the Lady Chaparrals in the first off OC starter

Bridget White hit a home run down the left-field line to lead off the third inning, pulling the Lady Eagles within 5-1. Sydney Beuthien answered with a two-run homer in the fourth for Lubbock Christian.

Beuthien's second homer, a three-run shot with two outs in the fifth, ended the game due to the run rule.
OC will complete its 10-game road stretch on Tuesday with a nonconference doubleheader at Midwestern State (Texas) before returning home for a game next Saturday against Eastern New Mexico.
