Oklahoma Christian closed out the non-conference schedule with a 77-68 win over Texas Wesleyan University Friday night.
The Eagles led 43-33 at halftime, but the Rams rallied to tie the game at 59-59 with five minutes left in the second half.
Junior Keith Harris connected on a three-point basket with 4:50 remaining to put OC on top and the Eagles never looked back. Oklahoma Christian scored its final 11 points from the free throw line.
Harris led all OC scorers with 20 points while also grabbing eight rebounds. Senior Brady Page notched 19 points, sinking 11-of-12 free throws on the night.
Other Eagles scoring in double figures were Charles Baldwin with 12, Dillon Ripley with 11 and Micah Miles with 10. Kendrick Jackson came off the bench to snatch 10 rebounds.
The fifth-ranked Eagles, the best shot-blocking team in the nation, blocked a season-high 13 shots in the game, with John Nottley swatting six and Micah Miles four.
The Rams, who came in shooting 43 percent from three-point range, connected on just 5-of-18 treys (28 percent).
Oklahoma Christian (10-1) opens the Sooner Athletic Conference schedule on Thursday, Jan. 5 against Northwestern Oklahoma State University at the Eagles' Nest. The game tips off at 8 p.m. following the Lady Eagles' game against NWOSU.
