Opening the Sooner Athletic Conference tournament with a 85-76 victory over University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Christian advanced to the semifinals against Oklahoma City University March 5.

Led by 24 points from sophomore Keith Harris and 21 points from senior Jarred Merrill, the Eagles raise their season record to 26-5. OCU, first round winners over John Brown University 74-61, is now 18-10.

Point guard Bray Page also was in double figures with 10 points and five assists. Merrill registered his 21st double-double of the season with 15 rebounds. He has 57 in his career.

OC opened the game by shooting 70 percent in the first half and finishing with 56 percent for the game. The Eagles were 27 of 32 from the foul line.
