The holiday week proved highly successful for Oklahoma Christian, as the Eagles reeled off three victories to raise their season record to 8-0.

OC recorded an 85-80 victory over Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth Nov. 23. Coach Dan Hays' team followed with a 103-75 win over No. 15 ranked Houston Baptist University and a 101-88 decision over Central Baptist College (Ark.) in the Oklahoma Baptist Classic, Nov. 26-27.

All-American Jarred Merrill tallied 31 points and guards Brady Page and Charles Baldwin each scored 21 points in the win over Texas Wesleyan. Against Houston Baptist Merrill had 24 points and 13 rebounds while Page again registered 21 points. In the Central Baptist contest Merrill pumped in 39 points along with 12 rebounds while sophomore Keith Harris contributed 16 points.

Also in double figures were Charles Baldwin with 14 points and Page and Micah Miles, each with 12 points.
