The Women's Basketball Division II Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, is in its eighth season of existence. During the season, the regional polls are released every Monday, followed by the national poll every Tuesday. Each region has six representatives who vote in the regional poll. The national poll has 16 voters -- two from each of Division II's eight regions.Â
The voting committee for the D2SIDA national poll includes two voters from each of NCAA Division II’s eight regions:
ATLANTIC – Ameer Rasheed, Lincoln (Pa.); Matthew Kifer, California (Pa.)
CENTRAL – Don Vieth, Northeastern State (Okla.); Shawn Smith, Minnesota-Crookston
EAST – Kyle Goodhart, Mercy (N.Y.); Dick Lipe, Bentley (Mass.)
MIDWEST – Sean Daniels, Wisconsin-Parkside; Dusty Sloan, Ashland (Ohio)
SOUTH – Steven Aldridge, Union (Tenn.); Alison Smalling, Embry-Riddle (Fla.)
SOUTH CENTRAL – Murray Evans, Oklahoma Christian; Chris Due, Lubbock Christian (Texas)
SOUTHEAST – Walker McCrary, North Georgia; John Fitzgerald, Belmont Abbey (N.C.)
WEST – Jared Pine, PacWest Conference; Nate Sagan, Alaska-Anchorage
