Migl, Hennesy Named 2026 All-Conference Honorees

RICHARDSON, Texas - After the completion of the 2026 regular season, Trey Migl and Jontae Hennesy finished their college careers with Second Team and Third Team All-Lone Star Conference nods, the league announced Wednesday, May 6.

This is the second consecutive year Migl has earned Second Team honors while Hennesy is making his debut on the All-LSC teams.

Migl, a senior from Piedmont, Okla., became the first Eagle since Derek Jones and Ben McKenzie in 2015 and 2016 to record back-to-back 60-hit seasons, pacing the 2026 squad with 62 hits and a .373 batting average on 166 at-bats. The former Carl Albert State College transfer reached career benchmarks of 250 hits, 200 runs scored and 150 RBI in his final college campaign.

During the 2026 season, the Sooner State product held a 31-game on-base streak, marking the longest such streak since 2024 (Hunter Jones, 43) and tied for the second longest streak of OC's NCAA Divison II era.

Hennesy, a senior from Phoenix, Ariz., tied Migl with a .373 batting average while finishing second on the team with 38 RBI and a third-most 56 hits. The former Pima Arizona Junior College transfer, who closed the season on a 12-game hitting streak, led the team with a .487 on-base percentage among qualified batters, working 24 walks and 12 hit-by-pitches over his senior campaign.

With the All-Conference honors, both Migl and Hennesy will now advance to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Region ballot, where either senior will look to become just the program's second all-region honoree in the last half-decade.
