RICHARDSON, Texas - For the fifth time in her career, Jill Dickson was named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday, Mar. 17.

In addition this being her fifth career conference win, Tuesday was also the Edmond, Okla., native's second weekly nod this season.

Dickson earned the honor after another 2-0 week which included her fifth career no-hitter in an 8-0 win over UT Permian Basin and a win over No. 8 Angelo State where she threw nine strikeouts while allowing just three hits.

Against the Falcons, the conference's preseason pitcher of the year came within one hit-batter of throwing her first perfect game while still facing the minimum in just six innings of work.

On the season, Dickson has won her last seven starts for her 12-2 record in the circle and is tied for the LSC lead with 97 strikeouts while also leading the league in opponent batting average (.187).

No. 12 Oklahoma Christian return to the Lawson Softball Complex tonight, Tuesday, Mar. 17, when it faces No. 17 Central Oklahoma at 5 p.m. in a non-conference tilt.
