EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian stayed within striking distance of No. 11 Eastern New Mexico late but were unable to break through as OC fell at the hands of the Greyhounds, 87-76.
Carson Jones tallied a season-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting while knocking down four triples and four free-throws.
Miles Gibson recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds along with matching his career high with three blocks and two steals.
Oklahoma Christian out-shot Eastern New Mexico from beyond the three-point line, 47.1 percent (8-for-17) to 40,0 percent (6-for-15), but the Greyhounds did most of its damage inside the paint, where they won the battle in the painted area, 54-26.

Oklahoma Christian held an early lead on the top-15 Greyhounds, 12-8, before a 9-0 Eastern run yielded a five-point deficit for the maroon-and-gray which ENMU built to 12 before the halftime buzzer, 47-35.
The Greyhounds threatened to run away with the game in the second half, holding its largest lead of the game at the 15:06 mark, 56-39, but OC got it back down to as much as 10 before leaving the floor with the final tally in favor of Eastern New Mexico, 87-76.
Oklahoma Christian (9-10, 4-9 LSC) will host West Texas A&M in the season's second meeting with the Buffs Saturday, Feb. 7 at 3 p.m.
