Hunter Jones were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees, the CSC announced Tuesday, June 3.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Qualified student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). Student-athletes must have competed in 90 percent of the institution's games played or
must have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances or
pitched 35 innings.
All-LSC Second Team recipient Migl (.363), Adair (.363) and NCBWA Second Team All-Region honoree Jones (.354) led OC with the best three batting averages on the team, while Jones was the lone Eagle to start all 50 games for the maroon-and-gray.
Given his accolades on the field and in the classroom, the Norman, Okla.
(Norman North HS) catcher and the program's NCBWA All-Region recipient since 2021 will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, to be announced July 1, 2025.
