PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - No. 7 Oklahoma Christian closed the day the same way it started: Eight strokes back of the coveted top-8 positioning as the Eagles used a 9-over 297 to close the second round of the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships at 17-over 593.

No. 4 Lincoln Memorial and No. 5 Central Oklahoma are currently tied for eighth place at 9-over 585. Following the third round of stroke play Wednesday, May 21, the top eight teams will advance to Medal Match Play with the quarterfinals and semifinals scheduled for Thursday, May 22.

Leandro Mihaich paced the Eagles on day two with an even-par 72 while carding a team-high four birdies during the second round. Mihaich enters the final round of stroke play tied for 25th.

Exequiel Rodriguez delivered the second-best round of any OC golfer on day two with a 2-over 74 after recording the only eagle of the day from the maroon-and-gray's five-bag on the par 5, 538-yard 3rd hole. After two rounds, Rodriguez is tied for 62nd at 6-over 150.

Vertti Perala and Oskari Nikku completed the scorers for Oklahoma Christian on the penultimate stroke-play round with a 3-over 75 and 4-over 76, respectively. Joey Lewis rounded out the Eagle five-bag with a 7-over 79.

No. 7 Oklahoma Christian will tee off round three from PGA National tomorrow morning with Lewis getting the maroon-and-gray's day started at 8:20 a.m. CT. Perala, Rodriguez, Nikku and Mihaich will follow in 11-minute increments.
