EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian will play its penultimate home series this weekend when Cameron University comes up from Lawton for a four-game duel between in-state conference foes. The first two games will be played Sunday, Apr. 6 starting at 1 p.m. before games three and four will be played Monday, Apr. 7 at 1 and 4 p.m.
EAGLE OUTLOOK (7-27, 6-26 LSC)

Trey Migl set an OC single-game record during the NCAA Division II era with six hits against Southwestern Oklahoma State, consisting of three singles, two doubles and a home run. Despite the historic outing, Oklahoma Christian fell to SWOSU, 14-13, despite being ahead 11-4 after two innings and 13-9 after six.
Closing games has been a point of emphasis for head coach
Lonny Cobble this season. Including this past Tuesday's midweek game against the Bulldogs, seven of the Eagles' losses have come after bringing a lead into the seventh inning of a nine-inning game or heading into the fifth inning of a seven-inning game. Overall, OC is 2-9 in one-run games this season.
Oklahoma Christian is ninth in the conference in team-batting average (.285) but is 11th in team-ERA (9.24).
Chris Jones with his 6.58 ERA has been the most reliable starter on the mound for coach Cobble and his staff in what has been a revolving door of weekend starters.

Tristan Copeland (2) each have made at least two starts on the bump this season for a team that has played just two midweek games and 32 weekend conference games.
The Eagles lead the all-time series with Cameron, 42-33, but have dropped the last two. The last four-game series played between the two clubs at Dobson Field, CU took three of the four games. Of the 75 previous meetings, OC is 20-13 at home and 22-20 away from its home turf.Â
SCOUTING CAMERON (9-23, 9-23 LSC)
Cameron comes into this weekend off its first conference series win of the 2025 season after taking three games from Sul Ross State at home. Two of CU's wins over SRSU were decided by two or fewer runs before clinching the series victory with a resounding 20-1 victory. The Aggies are 6-10 at home this year compared to just 3-13 on the road.
Cameron is only hitting .263 as a team, which is the second worst in the conference, but does own the ninth-best ERA as a team at 9.09. Freshman outfielder Zane Roos (.340) and junior outfielder Wyatt Cunningham (.337) are the only Aggies hitting .300 or better. Victor Munoz has started a team-most eight games on the mound for CU, where he holds a 4.81 ERA. Â
