ROCKWALL, Texas - Following a first-place team finish in stroke play, No. 7 Oklahoma Christian fell to eventual Lone Star Conference Champion Midwestern State in the semifinals of medal match play, 5-0.

Oskar Nikku saw the best round in the head-to-head format, shooting a 1-over 73 while his opponent tied his best round of the 2025 LSC Championships with a 2-under 69 to take the match by three strokes.

Two-time defending LSC individual champion Leandro Mihaich and two-time defensing LSC men's golf academic player of the year Exequiel Rodriguez shot 4-over 76s to drop their respective matches by two strokes.

Oklahoma Christian will now turn its attention to the South Central/Midwest Regional held in Riverside, Calif., May 8-10. With the top-10 teams in the region qualifying for the NCAA postseason, OC came in at No. 2 in the most recent region rankings.
