EDMOND, Okla. - Day one of the 2025 Oak Tree Invitational was stricken with heavy winds as No. 7 Oklahoma Christian fought through 36 holes up to third place with a 36-over 596.
(RV) UT Tyler and No. 5 Central Oklahoma occupy the top two spots heading into the final round at 23-over 583 and 32-over 592, respectively. (RV) Midwestern St. (41-over 601) and Cameron (43-over 603) round out the top-5.
Leandro Mihaich paces the Eagles with a seventh-place 5-over 145. Through the two rounds, Mihaich played the back nines 2-under while shooting a total of 7-over on the front nine.
Exequiel Rodriguez responded to a 9-over 79 first round with an even-par 70 in round two, tied for the third lowest second round of the 100-player field. The second-round comeback has Rodriguez tied for 19th at 9-over 149.
Oskari Nikku is tied for 29th at 12-over 152 while
Joey Lewis completed the countable scores for OC at 15-over 155.
Blas Ayesa completed the Oklahoma Christian five-bag with a 16-over 156 to sit at 50th.
Among OC's four individuals competing,
Juan Repetto led the charge with a 36-hole score of 14-over 154 for 40th place, followed by
Alex Rigby at 20-over 160 at 71st and
Vertti Perala at 23-over 163 for a spot at 78th.
Mason Brown, following a first-round 23-over 93, withdrew in the second round.
