EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian came into the 2025 regular season without a single victory over an AVCA top-25 team and finished with two such victories after the Eagles handed No. 13 West Texas A&M its third conference loss of the year.
In addition to Saturday's win being OC's second-ever win over a top-25 team, it was also the maroon-and-gray's first win over West Texas A&M in program history.

Chloe Jones became the first Eagle in program history to deliver a 20-kill, 20-dig performance, leading the team in both categories with a season-high 22 kills and 27 digs, while hitting .367 in the effort.
Kathryn Christie, one day after recording her most kills since 2023, matched her career-high with 11 winners.
The Eagle defense logged 12 blocks on the afternoon, which is their second most blocks this season as well as the second most blocks West Texas A&M has allowed on their year.
Lauren Cary led the defensive effort at the net with eight blocks while Jones added five blocks to her historic day.
Oklahoma Christian was quick to make a statement Saturday afternoon, opening up an 8-3 lead and building that to 16-10. The Lady Buffs responded with a 7-1 run to tie it up at 17-17, but OC prevailed for the early lead in the match, 25-20.

A 7-1 run put Oklahoma Christian ahead, 14-8, as the Eagles withstood a late WT 5-0 spurt to send play to a match-deciding fifth set, 25-20. The evenly-matched teams on this day delivered a fifth set that required extra time to decide the season-finale winner.
