Biography

2023: Was one of six Eagles with over 100 kills this season and was fifth with a 1.54 kills per set average . . . Hit .268 for the year, which was second on the team among those with at least 250 total attacks . . . Finished third on the squad with 43 block assists . . . Recorded a season-high 11 kills while hitting .435 in a 3-1 win against Southern Arkansas (Sept. 9) before finishing her season with 10 kills on a .391 attack percentage and four blocks against Southeastern Oklahoma State (Oct. 14). 
  • OVERVIEW
    • Kathryn is a Biology major and is a local talent from Edmond, Oklahoma. Kathryn is a 6-foot outside hitter coming back for her sophomore year after contributing during her freshmen season.
    • Kathryn would love to become an orthopedic PA in the future. Growing up Kathryn was inspired by Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry and Michael Phelps. 
    • Kathryn's family includes her mom and step-dad (Michelle and Brad Snider), dad (Gavin Christie) and siblings (Anna and Ben Christie and Bryson and Bradon Snider)

    • Kathryn played in 17 sets and 12 matches during her freshman season. While in play Kathryn was credited with 12 kills resulting in 0.71 kills per set percentage. On the defensive side Kathryn is credited with 4 digs and being a part of a few blocks.

    • Kathryn is a local product of Edmond North High School. 
    • Kathryn was also a part of the Oklahoma Charge Volleyball Club in Oklahoma City for 5 years.
