PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - After the first 36 holes of the 2024 fall season, No. 4 Oklahoma Christian is one of two teams in the 14-team field of the NCAA National Preview to shoot below par through two rounds as the Eagles at 4-under 564 are three shots back of No. 1 and defending national champion Colorado Christian at 7-under 561.
The site of the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships is hosting seven of the Bushnell/Golfweek Top-10 programs across today's 36 holes and Tuesday's final 18 holes. No. 25 Palm Beach Atlantic is currently third at 2-over 570, followed by No. 7 Florida Southern and No. 8 Grand Valley State tied four fourth at 5-over 573.
Reigning DII Jack Nicklaus Golfer of the Year
Leandro Mihaich is pacing the OC five-bag with a two-round 5-under 137 after carding back-to-back sub-par rounds. For the day, Mihaich recorded 27 pars, seven birdies and just two bogeys.
2023 All-Americans
Oskari Nikku and
Exequiel Rodriguez sit tied for 11th and 16th, respectively, after both golfers finished opening day with 1-under 70s during the second round. Nikku opened play with a 1-over 72 to sit even-par 142 for the tournament while the defending LSC Scholar Athlete of the Year Rodriguez is 1-over 143.
Blas Ayesa carded the lone eagle on the day of any Oklahoma Christian golfer on the 545-yard par 5 10th as he finished his day tied for 26th with a 4-over 146.
Juan Repetto, in his first collegiate tournament, placed in a tie for 38th as the true freshman finished with a 6-over 148. In his first ever collegiate round, Repetto carded a first-round 2-under 69 with 15 pars, three birdies and just one bogey.
No. 4 Oklahoma Christian will return to PGA National for round three as Repetto will get things going with his 8:05 a.m. CT tee time, followed by Ayesa, Rodriguez, Nikku and Mihaich teeing off in nine minute increments.  Â
