RICHARDSON, Texas - Oklahoma Christian's men's soccer freshman goalkeeper Pepe Hinterschuster was recognized as this week's Lone Star Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon. 

Hinterschuster was given this honor from the LSC after a week of a two-game clean sheet in goal. First with a shutout draw against then-No. 14 Southern Nazarene and then a shutout win against (RV) Rogers State. Hinterschuster had an outstanding six-save second half in the game at RSU to seal the victory for the Eagles. 

Hinterschuster will look to continue this amazing stretch of play with two more nationally-ranked opponents this week at home, as the Eagles host No. 15 Colorado State University Pueblo on Thursday, Sept. 19 and No. 8 University of Colorado at Colorado Springs on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Eagles Soccer Field.
