RICHARDSON, Texas - Oklahoma Christian men's soccer completed its 2025 season with Ethan Nakolo headlining the postseason honors after being named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Year, Forward of the Year and First Team All-LSC.

Alejandro Gomez and Nick Hardiman were the other Eagles to earn All-Conference recognition as a Third Team representative and All-Academic recipient, respectively.

Nakolo earns the trifecta of postseason honors after finishing the regular season tied for the NCAA Division II lead with 14 goals against NCAA competition and 17 overall scores. The Yukon, Okla., native's 17 goals set the program's NCAA single-season record after tallying five multi-goal matches, including a five-game goal streak.

The Sooner State product marks the third year in a row OC men's soccer has produced a conference "of the year" recipient, joining 2023 and 2024's Freshman of the Year Landon Ellis and Pepe Hinterschuster, respectively. Nakolo is the first Eagle to ever be named the league's Player of the Year.

Gomez makes his debut on the all-conference list with Third Team honors after captaining the Eagles men's soccer team in 2025 and being one of three non-goalies to have over 1200 minutes of competition despite playing in only 14 of the available 17 contests.

The third-year midfielder was one of six Eagles with at least one goal and one assist on the season. Gomez's lone goal served as a game-winner against Sul Ross State in what was the Lobos' first conference loss at the time.

Gomez joined goalkeeper Nick Hardiman among the 11 all-academic representatives to round out the 2025 all-conference honorees for Oklahoma Christian. Hardiman and Gomez earned the academic nod after holding a cumulative 4.0 and a 3.952 grade point average.
