COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -
Ethan Nakolo continued his historic 2025 season by adding South Central Region Player of the Year honors to his postseason resume, it was announced Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Nakolo is the first Eagle during the NCAA Division II era to be named region player of the year and the second-ever D2CCA First Team All-Region honoree.
The Yukon, Okla.
(Yukon HS) native engineered an incredible sophomore season with the Eagles as he was tabbed the Lone Star Conference Player and Forward of the Year along with being named to the All-LSC First Team after recording 17 goals, two assists, and 36 points.
Nakolo was one of the top offensive players in all of NCAA Division II throughout the 2025 campaign as he currently ranks tied for third in the nation in goals and tied for tenth in points.
The sophomore sensation will now advance to the All-America ballot, which will be announced in December.
