La Jolla, California - No. 6 Oklahoma Christian headed west to play in an all-Division I tournament at the famous Torrey Pines - North Course in the US San Diego Invitational that wrapped up Tuesday afternoon.

Round 1
Oklahoma Christian started strong as the only Division II school in a field of Division I teams.
The Eagles were led by Leandro Mihaich shot an even-par 72 to finish round one tied for fifth individually.
Said Powers finished his strong first round with a 73 (+1) and sits in the top-10 individually.
Blas Ayesa and Exequiel Rodriguez both shot an opening round 74 (+2) and sat inside the top 15. Ayesa recorded an eagle on the par five, hole 5, to solidify his solid round.
The Eagles were rounded out by Oskari Nikku, shooting a 79 (+7) to round out the Eagles' outstanding 293 (+5) as a team and sit tied for first as a team going into day two.
The Eagles were also represented by the great individual play of Joey Lewis, shooting a 79 (+7) for his opening round.
Round 2
Oklahoma Christian continued the strong play in a competitive field in round two at Torrey Pines Monday afternoon.
Leandro Mihaich played another solid round to finish 72, even par on the day, and stayed in the hunt to claim a top-5 finish in a field of Division I talent.
Exequiel Rodriguez was able to knock in a few more birdies in round two, cutting some strokes off his round one score to shoot a one-under 71. This solid round moved Rodriguez up into the top 10 going into the final round of play.
The solid play continued for Said Powers and Blas Ayesa, each ending with a 74 (+2) second round, setting them up to make a run to get a top-15 finish.
Oskari Nikku was able to find momentum in the second round, shooting 76 (+4) and improving from the first round.
The Eagles finished round two in fourth place and just seven strokes out from the first-place team, North Dakota State.
Joey Lewis continued to play well on the tough Torrey Pines, shooting an 8-over 80 in round two.
Round 3
The Eagles finished strong in the third round of play and placed third in a stacked field of competition.
Exequiel Rodriguez shot the low round for the Eagles in round three, firing off a 3-under 69. Leandro Mihaich finished his strong tournament, finishing with a 2-under 70. Both Rodriguez and Mihaich finished tied for fourth individually.
The Eagles saw two great performances from Blas Ayesa and Said Powers. Ayesa played an outstanding front nine, shooting a 3-under 33, including Ayesa not recording a single bogey. Ayesa would finish the round 1-under 71 and claim a top-25 finish. Powers gave a solid performance and shot a 74 (+2) in the third round.
Oskari Nikku rounded out the play for the Eagles with 76 (+6).
This performance by the Eagles team today, with a score of 284 (-4), led them to a third-place finish among a field of seventeen Division I teams.
Joey Lewis played as an individual and had a great final-round performance with a 75 (+3).
