GLEN COVE, N.Y. - In a field consisting of 12 NCAA Division I programs, NCAA Division II Oklahoma Christian stood out above the rest Tuesday afternoon as the No. 3 Eagles topped the Nassau Intercollegiate's all-Division field by 14 strokes, posting a 54-hole score of 16-over 856.

Oskari Nikku, who paced the 68-player field with a 4-under 206 for his first tournament win of the fall season. Nikku was the only golfer to finish below par and recorded two of his three rounds sub-par, including a second-round 5--under 65, serving as the lowest round from any competitor for the entire event.
The Tuusula, Finland, native played a flawless second round of golf, recording 13 pars and five birdies while remaining bogey free for the entire 18 holes. Beginning with hole 15 on the first round, Nikku played 24 straight holes of bogey-free golf, carding eight birdies and 16 pars during that stretch.
Exequiel Rodriguez was the second highest finishing Eagle, shooting a 5-over 215 for third place. Rodriguez came into the final round at 5-over before playing his final 18 holes even-par 70 for the Top-5 finish.
Leandro Mihaich opened the tournament with the second best single-round of anyone for the entire tournament behind Nikku's 65 with a 4-under 66. After shooting a 9-over 79 for the second round, Mihaich closed with a 2-over 72 to finish in a tie for sixth at 7-over 217.
Blas Ayesa played his best round of the event in the first round, opening with a 1-over 71 before closing with a final score of 12-over 222 for a spot at 25th.
Juan Repetto posted his best round in the final 18 holes, closing with a 2-over 72 for a spot at 53rd with a 21-over 231.
The No. 3 Oklahoma Christian men's golf program did not post a finish worse than second place during its four fall tournaments, which included the NCAA Division II National Preview and a pair of NCAA Division I events. Coming with those four Top-2 or better finishes was two team victories and one individual victory.
