RICHARDSON, Texas -  Oklahoma Christian's men's soccer sophomore midfielder Igor Caballero was recognized as this week's Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon. 

Caballero earned this honor after a historic performance at home against Central Christian College of Kansas, scoring the LSC's first hat trick of the season and the first in OC history since 2013. Caballero led the Eagles to a 5-2 victory, with two goals in the first half and the final goal in the second half in the team's final non-conference game of the season. 

Caballero currently sits third in the conference with four goals this season and will look to continue his great play when the Eagles open up conference play by hosting Sul Ross State, on October, 2nd at 6 p.m.
