Logistical Notes:
- There are prelims and finals sessions in each event except for the 1000 freestyle and 1650 freestyle.
- The 1000 freestyle and 1650 freestyle are called "Timed Finals" events which basically means regardless of whether you swim in the morning heats or evening heats you can win the event if you have the fastest time.
- In the distance events (1000 and 1650) the top-8 seeds race in the Finals session.
- Everyone races in the prelim's session in all other events and the top 16 finishers will move on to finals to race in the evening.
- Based on prelims results, swimmers ranked 1-8 race in the "A Final" or "Championship Final" and swimmers ranked 9-16 race in the "B Final" or "Consolation Final."
- Scoring
- 1 = 20 Points

- 12 = 5
- 13 = 4
- 14 = 3
- 15 = 2

- A swimmer in the "Consolation Final" cannot outscore or place higher than a swimmer in the "Championship Final" regardless of how fast they swim.
- For example, last year JT didn't go fast enough in the morning to qualify for the "Championship Final", so he had to race in the "Consolation Final." His time would have placed 4th overall, but since he wasn't in the "Championship Final" he still finished in 9th place.
