Elliot Moore is the 2022 Ultiworld.com Division-III Men's Player of the Year

Oklahoma City (July 15th, 2022) - After winning back-to-back national championships, Oklahoma Christian now has consecutive National Player of the Year award winners as Elliott Moore wins the 2022 Ultiworld.com Division-III Men's Player of the Year award.

Moore joined the OC program as one of the first big signings during the program's inception. And with his passion for the sport and established network throughout the Ultimate community, he helped build OC's program into a national powerhouse.

Ultiworld.com said, "Moore's impact on the OC program should not be understated" and his impact is "something you cannot teach; (he exemplifies) incredible leadership and the ability to get players to "buy in" to the program."

In an Instagram post earlier this week Coach Garrett Taylor had this to say about Elliot and his impact on the OC program: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf77RPOLpKa/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

In his final campaign with the Eagles, he led the program to win its second national championship in the same school year.

At the national championship tournament in May, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Moore showcased an impressive final performance for the Eagles, he recorded six goals, 20 assists, one block, and a positive (+4) plus/minus over the three-day tournament.

Moore joins Kyle Henke as the second Oklahoma Christian player of the year recipient. Henke was named the Division III Player of the Year last season when Moore was the first runner-up for the award.

"It feels awesome to get recognized for something that I have put so much time and effort into," Moore said. "I think it bodes well for this program that the last two player of the year awards have been from Oklahoma Christian and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again next year."

In the first three years, OC Ultimate has racked up two national titles, two national players of the year awards, and two first runner-ups for the player of the year award, as Jonathan Castello of the Eagles was the First Runner-up this season.

Moore, originally from Austin, Texas, now competes in the American Ultimate Disc League, with the Austin Sol, where he has been a member of the team since 2017. You can follow along with the Austin Sol and Moore on Instagram @atxsol, or theaudl.com/sol.
