OKLAHOMA CITY (June 9, 2022) – Three members of Oklahoma Christian's women's bowling team earned recognition as a Collegiate Scholar Athlete for the 2021-22 season from the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association.

To qualify for the NCBCA award, a bowler must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5. OC has had at least two bowlers earn the award in each of the past four seasons.

Two of OC's honorees earned the honor for a third straight season – junior Political Science major Morgan Pelkie of Sarnia, Ontario, and junior Film and Production major Athena Walker of McKinney, Texas. They are the second and third OC women's bowlers to do so.

Jordan Corbett, a freshman Psychology major from Owasso, earned the award for the first time.
