OKLAHOMA CITY (April 28, 2022) – Oklahoma Christian will host a Nike Soccer Camp at the Eagle Soccer Field from June 6-9, OC coaches Evan Dresel and Mitchell Sowerby said Thursday.

The co-ed camp will be for players ages 6 to 16. A half-day camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon each day, with a full-day camp to run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sowerby, OC's men's coach, and Dresel, OC's women's coach, will serve as the camp directors.

The program will be geared toward both player development and high-performance campers. Players will work on mastering the proper fundamentals, techniques and advancing their overall skills and knowledge of the game through a mix of drills, games and competitive play.

The player development program will be for campers 11 and under for all skill levels. These camps are designed to maximize player participation and ensure each camper develops in all aspects of the game in a fun and engaging environment. Coaches will implement a wide range of technical, physical and tactical activities with a focus on fun.

The high-performance program will be for campers ages 12 and above who are looking to improve their game in a fun and fast-paced environment. These camps are designed so players leave the camp week more prepared for their club and high school seasons. Experienced coaches will provide campers with a fresh perspective and challenge them to develop technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of their game through a progressive curriculum.
