Las Vegas, Nev. - The Oklahoma Christian men's and women's bowling teams completed their first of our two tournaments, the Glenn Carlson Invitational, in Las Vegas over the weekend.
The men qualified first out of forty-seven teams and lost in the first round of match play, falling three games to two against St Xavier.
C.J. Petrin won the individual side, and Petrin and
Trey Maloy also made the all-tournament team.

James Hayes said after the tournament. "This is our first time qualifying first at a Tier I tournament and taking home first-place sectional ranking points. I am proud of them and how they worked together. Now the guys must regroup and be ready for the collegiate shootout. "
On the ladies' side, the Eagles team qualified fifth and lost in the first round of the match play, falling in the best of five, three games to two, to UT Southern.

Kaylee Back bowled great on both days and led the team to a very nice finish. We have a quick turnaround, so we must regroup and get ready to go again."
